Our clients are children, adolescents, adults, and families who are seeking support to achieve a wide range of goals. Some of these include resolving symptoms of anxiety or depression, learning ways to manage work stress, reducing behavioural challenges, and adjusting to major life changes. Some individuals have diagnoses, such as ADHD, OCD, or depression, and some don’t. We also have clients who are wondering whether they meet criteria for a diagnosis. Ultimately, we aim to help our clients obtain the information they are seeking and support them in reaching the goals they have set.
We see clients who seek out treatment for themselves or their families, who are referred by agencies such as the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) or a long-term disability provider, and we see individuals whose family doctors have suggested that therapy or assessment might be important. You do not require a referral to make an appointment.
If you aren’t sure if we are the right fit, please give us a call and ask questions. If we aren’t what you are looking for, we will do our best to point you in the right direction. We recognize how complicated it can be to navigate the mental health system.
