I have a Masters of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. During my career, I have worked both within school board and private practice settings. In addition to promoting the mental health of children and youth during their education, my focus has been working with people who have experienced trauma – current or historical – and who require assistance to make peace with their bodies and find joy again. My work with couples explores attachment styles and relationship systems. The goal is to strengthen partners’ understanding of each other and to help them build a relationship that is a thriving and safe place.

I will partner with you to uncover your natural abilities to heal and gain perspective from all of life’s events. My approach is gentle and client-led. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems Therapy modalities; Polyvagal Therapy techniques are utilized throughout the therapy process. I will support you as you work to decrease the discomfort you are experiencing in life and increase your ability to experience joy with yourself and others. Therapy goals may include decreasing intrusive thoughts, increasing a sense of control in your life, and overcoming shame, grief, and low self-worth, while increasing the quality of your relationships and self-confidence.
