Terri Jackson, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Weekdays and Evenings. Adults, adolescents, and seniors.
I typically work from a cognitive-behavioral lens, however I believe in an empathic and collaborative approach, so that you will always be part of the therapeutic process. Therapy is an opportunity to learn and build skills to start living life the way you want to be living it.
My clinical experience is in Motivational Interviewing, Narrative and Solution Focused Therapy, Comprehensive DBT (emotions, relationships, and distress tolerance), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotional Intelligence and Prolonged Exposure approaches for PTSD.
I have over 20 years of experience working within the mental health field and strongly value a client centered, strength based, and trauma informed approach. I have my Master of Social Work from University of Windsor, with an undergraduate honours degree in Sociology from Brock University.
